Japan is also home to the Fukuoka Method, a semi-aerobic landfill technology that combines low cost, high efficiency, and high safety, and has since been adopted at landfill sites around the world. This program introduces both the technologies themselves and the policies and community-collaboration frameworks that make them work in practice.
Our Approach
ABITAD is a newly established company, and we are still building our own track record as an organization. At the same time, our team brings hands-on professional experience — developed prior to founding ABITAD — in designing and delivering training related to waste recycling, ecosystem development, and landfill technologies including the Fukuoka Method. We draw on this experience, together with ABITAD’s network of Japanese public institutions, subject-matter experts, and program partners, to design training programs tailored to each delegation’s objectives.
